Reports and Consultation Evenings
BackReporting
Effective communication with families is at the heart of the Misbourne Partnership.
We report on students' academic progress at set intervals, twice in the academic year for all year groups. These reports include information on attainment across subjects, attitude to learning, home learning and for years 10, 11, 12 and 13 forecast grades. Where concerns arise regarding attitude to learning, we also indicate the specific nature of these concerns.
In 2024/25 academic reports will be sent home during the week beginning:
- 18 November 2024 - Year 13
- 2 December 2024 - Year 11
- 6 January 2025 - Years 7, 8, 9
- 20 January 2025 - Year 10
- 3 March 2025 - Year 13
- 10 March 2025 - Year 12
- 24 March 2025 - Year 11
- 19 May 2025 - Year 10
- 9 June 2025 - Year 12
- 16 June 2025 - Year 7
- 7 July 2025 - Year 8
- 14 July 2025 - Year 9
Consultation Evenings
We hold annual consultation events with families of students in every year group. These events offer an opportunity to speak directly to your child's teacher about their academic progress and attitude to learning, as well as to receive advice on how families can support their child's development.
The dates of consultation evenings can be found in the school calendar.
We conduct our consultation evenings via SchoolCloud. This is a specialist platform enabling video conversations between teachers and families. Families can join appointments via any internet connected device, included computers, tablets and mobile phones. It is also possible for multiple family members to join from different locations. This offers additional convenience for families who may struggle to attend in person due to work and childcare commitments. Since implementing this system participation from families has increased significantly.

We also hold a number of face-to-face information events in school for key year groups. Details of these events are shared with families in advance and published in our school calendar.
Families are invited to contact their child's class teachers with any queries throughout the year. All communication should be via their child's year group email account.
