Open events 2026
OPEN EVENING - THURSDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2026
We look forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to our Open Evening on Thursday 17 September 2026 between 5.00pm - 8.00pm. The evening will provide an opportunity for you to enjoy a guided tour of the Academy from current tudents, chat to Year 7 students about their experiences here, speak to our teaching staff about their subjects and hear a talk from our Headteacher.
Headteacher talks will take place at 5.15pm, 6.15pm and 7.15pm in the Main Hall. Tickets for places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis as visitors arrive to manage capacity in the hall.
OPEN MORNINGS 2026
Please join us for one of our Open Mornings to see the Academy in action, enjoy a tour of our facilities and have a welcome from the Headteacher. All Open Mornings commence at 9.15am and finish at approximately 10.30am.

- Thursday 24 September 2026: 9.15am
- Tuesday 6 October 2026: 9.15am
- Thursday 8 October 2026: 9.15am
Arriving at The Misbourne
Great Missenden can become very congested during our Open Events. Please consider walking or using public transport where possible - The Misbourne is easily accessible from Great Missenden train station.
Please be aware that there is limited car parking on site during our Open Evening. Please use the front car park off Misbourne Drive only - the sports centre car park will be closed during Open Evening. There will be limited additional car parking at Missenden Abbey or please allow some extra time and use the Buryfield or Link Road car parks just off the Link Road in Great Missenden - both are just a short walk from The Misbourne. Please may we ask that visitors do not park in the narrow roads adjoining the Academy as this inconveniences our neighbours.
Please note that, on our Open Mornings, there is no car parking available on our site.
