Congratulations to The Misbourne Year 7/8 Girls Cross Country Team, Marea, Lillian, Hannah, Lizzie and Anna who achieved third place in the English Schools East Central Regional Cross Country Final on Saturday 9 November at Sibford School in Banbury. They competed against schools from six counties to gain their place in the National Final which will be held at St Mary’s College, Derby in December. This is the first time that The Misbourne has reached the National Final of this event.

Mrs Clegg, one of the teachers who accompanied the students to the race said, “we are so proud of the girls, amazing running”.

Headteacher, Ms Meloni added “well done girls and thank you to The Misbourne PE staff for continuing to give our students opportunities to perform at local, regional and national level.”
